Introduction to Laser Augmentation
Augments are permanent upgrades built into your body at the Augmentation Station.
An augment sits in one of your body slots and works on its own from then on, or on a key press for the active ones. No power is needed once it is installed, and augments stay with you when you die.
What You Need
- An Augmentation Station: the station block, four Polished Prismarine, four Aquarine Steel Blocks and four
Augmentation Station Extension, formed with the 
Aquarine Steel Wrench. Crafting the station takes an Eldritch Heart, so an Elder Guardian comes first. - A
Claw Robot Arm in the extension that holds the part. - A laser beam of at least 25 AP entering that extension from below.
- The part itself.
Where Parts Come From
- Mob Augments: organs dropped by Guardians, Dolphins, Drowned and Elder Guardians.
- Crafted Augments: legs, arms, a flight tank and a spare heart chamber, made at the crafting table.
- Deep Fauna Augments: parts from the creatures of the four NauTec ocean biomes.
