Simple pipes provide wired logistics. Item, fluid, and energy pipes connect only to pipes of the same type, and connected pipes form one line. Pipes have no screen, run continuously, and automatically connect to usable adjacent machines or containers.
When placed normally, the container on the clicked side defaults to insert mode. Sneak-place to make that side extract instead. By default, each extracting item pipe moves up to 64 items per tick and uses only one source slot and one target slot per transfer; fluid pipes move 10,000 mB/t and energy pipes move 100,000 FE/t. Optional Botania mana and Ars Nouveau Source transfers are each limited to 50/t.
Item pipes use an orange stripe and craft in batches of 2. All pipe recipes require a charged Eulogia Companion Stone; item pipes use a wooden chest as their distinguishing material.

Right-click a pipe connection with the Sky Wrench to disconnect or reconnect that side. Sneak-right-click a pipe to dismantle it quickly; its drops are placed in your inventory when possible.
Right-click a machine-facing endpoint with the Sky Configurator to switch it between extract and insert without opening the configurator screen. Extract endpoints use a wider collar.
Aim at an item or fluid pipe's machine-facing endpoint and right-click with a Sky Filter List or Sky Tag Filter List to copy its rules without consuming the list. The filter applies only to that endpoint, in both extract and insert mode. Sneak-right-click the endpoint with an empty hand to clear it. Energy pipes do not accept filters. With Jade installed, aim at the endpoint to see its transfer status and filter; sneak to expand the contents.
A simple pipe line contains at most 1024 pipe blocks by default. If placing or reconnecting a pipe would exceed the limit, the new edge stays disconnected and a message appears. Server settings can disable this limit check. Different pipe types never join the same line.
