Portable Generator

Portable Generators are the simplest and most reliable generators that produce energy by burning fuel. These will run anytime, anywhere. They'll even run underwater, amusingly enough. Any furnace fuel item can be used to recharge fuel.

Partially consumed Fuel Units are tracked! Portable Generators are 100% efficient and will never produce excess energy.

To account for variable burn times, items are first converted to Fuel Units and stored in the Generator's fuel gauge before they can be used to produce energy. 1 fuel unit will be produced for every 100 ticks of burn time, with a minimum of 1 fuel unit for very short-lasting burnables. Hover over the fuel gauge to check how many fuel units are stored, the maximum allowed, and how much energy each fuel unit will produce.
