Pipes are used to transport elements across distances. Their main use is to provide instruments with the required element.
You can configure a pipe by right-clicking a section or the core to change it from connected, disconnected, insert or extract.
Pipes exist in three tiers: impaired, normal and improved. You can upgrade all connected pipes if you right-click one holding a pipe of the next tier.
