Upgrades
The Controller has five upgrade slots. Most take the usual Productive Bees upgrades, plus one slot for the apiary's own Centrifuge upgrade. Just drop the upgrades into the Controller's slots.

Recipes on this page are read from what your game actually loaded, so a modpack that retunes one shows its own version here.
Speed
The Speed upgrade makes your bees finish their batches faster. Stack up to 4 in the slot for a bigger speed boost.
Productivity
The Productivity upgrade makes bees produce more each batch. It comes in four strengths: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega.
Stack up to 4 in the slot, and it adds on top of a bee's Productivity gene.
Block
The Block upgrade makes bees hand you comb blocks instead of loose honeycombs, which is much tidier to store and haul around.
Gene Sampler
The Pokey pokey gene sampler every so often pulls a gene out of a working bee and drops it in the Storage. Add more than one for a better chance.
Centrifuge
The Centrifuge upgrade runs every comb through its centrifuge recipe automatically, so you collect the finished products (items and fluids) instead of raw combs.
Combs that have no centrifuge recipe pass straight through, unchanged.
The Centrifuge upgrade comes in four tiers that multiply its output:
- Base: 1x
- Tier 1: 2x
- Tier 2: 4x
- Tier 3: 8x
Combs that pass through without a recipe are never multiplied. The amounts can be changed in the config.
