Silver spell parts are among the strongest spell parts known. Due to this, they cannot be unlocked like any other spell part. Instead, to unlock them, a specific combination of other spell parts must be cast.
While the original combinations have been lost to time, a few general concepts are still known today:
- Only components and modifiers need to be considered. Any shape may be used.
- Additional spell parts may be used, the ritual is not strict in that regard.
- There is no particular order of components and modifiers required.
- There is a thematic fit to the unlocking ritual. For example, Firestorm does not require Drown.
- All silver spells require at least two and up to six other spell parts.
