The Drone/$ will attack any living entity within the area.

Keep in mind that any Area/$ widgets connected to this widget must have an area type of Box/$; this is the only supported shape. It's possible to create different shapes though, by using multiple Area widgets on either whitelist (right) or blacklist (left) side.

You can specify which creatures may be attacked by using Text/$ widgets as an Entity Filter/$. E.g. if you want the Drone/$ to attack all players, connect a Text/$ widget to the right/$ of the Entity Attack/$ widget containing @player/$.

If you don't want to be attacked yourself, connect up a Text/$ widget on the left/$ containing your player name.

Drones/$ will equip and use any melee weapon in their inventory to attack. If a Drone/$ has multiple weapons in its inventory, it will equip the most damaging one.

You can use an Inventory Import/$ widget to provide the Drone with a weapon, which is strongly recommended - its unarmed melee attack is weak.

A Guard Drone/$ is a specialized non-programmable type of Drone/$ which should be deployed against any inventory block. It will import one item to use as a weapon and attack any in-range mobs with it.

As with all types of Drone, these drones require pressure/$ to operate, and will automatically seek out a Charging Station with a Dispenser Upgrade/$ if low on air.

The Guard Drone/$ will target any hostile mobs within 16 blocks horizontally of its deployment position, 8 blocks up, and 5 blocks down.

The reason for the smaller vertical range is to minimize detection of mobs in caves deep below and teleporting to them, which wastes air and leaves you wondering what's happened to your Drone.
