Gateway A standing ring 13 blocks across. Anything that passes through its event horizon comes out of another ring with the same address. The opening is 9 blocks wide, so a Sea Scout fits through with about three blocks to spare on every side. The bottom of the ring is two blocks thick, so the opening starts two blocks above the ground the ring stands on. Underwater you can swim or steer straight in. On land, build a step or a ramp up to it. Wild Gateways Gateways stand on the ocean floor on small prismarine platforms. Each one is half of a pair with its own address, and needs no power. The first time anything goes through a wild Gateway, the far half of its pair is built in another ocean about 1,500 blocks away, and you arrive there. From then on the two rings are a fixed route. Nothing has to be explored or loaded beforehand. Wild Gateways from before this change, which all started on Cyan, take their own pair address when their ring builds.
