Metamorphic Scent Grass

Rumor has it that in the End, there exists a rare crop that can borrow the form of delicacies and manifest their aroma.

Has a small chance to drop when breaking Violet Pine plants.

A fantastical crop. After reading the Floral Scroll, placing 12 of these in a Gourmet Ritual can replicate the food on the Dark Altar. Sadly, it only shares the same appearance, not the same effects. However, some say there exists an exceedingly rare fruit that can truly replicate both form and function.

A peculiar plant reproduced through dark magic, presenting corresponding flavors based on the chef's heart's desire, used to substitute certain ingredients. After returning from the temple, I spent some time deciphering this manuscript. The 'Metamorphic Scent Grass' recorded within caught my attention. I wanted to try it. I sowed the seeds as recorded. Under moonlight, I saw a new sprout slowly emerge. Fifteen suns and moons passed, and it finally matured. I eagerly rushed into the vegetable garden; those Celestial Fruits and Mysterious Fruits were nothing before it now. If it truly is as recorded...

It is colorful, dreamlike and illusory. I plucked a stalk of Metamorphic Scent Grass and tossed it into the pot to simmer with other ingredients. Not long after, a familiar dish was served. I picked up a piece and placed it in my mouth. The simulated taste was no different from my memory; I almost wept. I thought of you again. It's a pity there are no 'ifs' in this world. It's a pity we can never return to how we were before.
