The Demon Realm is home to creatures unlike anything found on the surface. Practitioners call them Daemonium; twisted entities of malice that guard the halls and mines of the endless depths.

They come in many forms, from shambling fodder to towering brutes, and each carries within it fragments of power that a resourceful vitaemancer can harvest.

The Daemonium fall into rough tiers of threat:

Fodder: Cruoris, Pestis, Animaris, Rancoris. Individually weak but numerous.

Standard: Voraxis. Stronger, with life-draining attacks.

Elite: Corrodis, Fervidis, Doloris. Dangerous foes with complex attack patterns.

Apex: Ignis, Glaciaris. Boss-tier creatures with devastating abilities.

Every Daemonium drops Tainted Flesh, an edible but risky food source.

More importantly, each species carries a unique trophy material that serves as a crafting component for powerful items unavailable through any other means.

The dungeons offer little in the way of wholesome sustenance, but a resourceful vitaemancer can make do with what the dead leave behind.

Dropped by most Daemonium, this dark meat staves off hunger but carries a risk of a brief withering curse. Desperation food at best; useful as a crafting base at worst.

Tainted Flesh refined through the Hellfire Forge with a Weak Blood Shard and Gore-Clotted Fang. Deeply satisfying and accelerates natural healing for a short time. Can be eaten at any time. A reliable combat ration.
