The Charging Rune inscribes a pattern of anticipation into the altar. When the Ara Vitae lies idle, neither crafting nor filling an Orb of Vitae, it siphons Essentia Vitae into a hidden reserve within the rune itself. The moment an item is placed upon the altar, this stored charge floods into the transmutation instantly, at a perfect 1:1 ratio.

The altar pulses once every 20 ticks, reduced by 1 per Acceleration Rune.

Each pulse stores: [10 EV x Charging Runes x (1 + Speed Runes/10)]

Maximum stored charge: 1,000 EV per Charging Rune, multiplied by [altar capacity / 20,000] if that ratio exceeds 1.
