Dish Storage

A cabinet for Petri Dishes. Each dish keeps its own slot, so colonies of different strains, sizes and stats never get mixed up.

Each tier is crafted from the one before it, and only Petri Dishes go in, empty or full.

Right-click it to open it. The screen shows 48 dishes at a time: scroll with the mouse wheel or drag the bar on the right to see the rest. Shift-clicking a dish from your inventory puts it in the first free slot, even one that is scrolled out of view. The count in the corner shows how many dishes it holds.

Hoppers, pipes and the Nautechnical Distributor can put dishes in and take them out through any face. A comparator next to it gives a signal for how full it is.

Breaking it drops every dish it holds.
