Control Rods can be inserted into their respective Fuel Rods pile and are made of a material that can absorb neutron radiation, which would otherwise hit the reactants stored in the Fuel Rods, thereby slowing down or stopping the consumption of fuel and the generation of heat and waste.

Right-click on a Control Rod to open its graphical user interface.

In the interface, you can assign a name to the Control Rod that can later be used to reference this specific Control Rod while using the Computer Port to manage the Reactor.

The insertion percentage specifies how much the Control Rod is inserted into its Fuel Rod pile. You can change the value for only this Control Rod or for all of them.
